Student Rooms may amend the Promotional Period in accordance with the rules.

 

Contesting Period:

Dates Working weekdays only (some days may be excluded including public holidays)
Times Between 9am – 5pm
Entry Restrictions: Entrants must be 18 years or older
Maximum Entries: Potential Housemates 1 entry for a sign up for 1 semester

2 entries for a sign up for 2 semesters

Current Housemate Referrals 1 entry for a referral who signs up for 1 semester

2 entries for a referral who signs up for 2 semesters

(as many referrals as you like)

Entry Procedure: Potential Housemates Potential housemates must:

1.     (Online SR sign up process) Sign up through the online process through the Student Rooms Website providing details to all relevant fields as directed and bring to your first appointment:

a.     Emergency contact details

b.     2 x Referee contact details

c.      2 x Forms of Government ID (passport, drivers licence, university confirmation of enrolment, university ID card, Medicare card)

d.     Proof of affordability

In your first appointment meet the above criteria and sign up for up to six months for one entry or up to twelve months for two entries

2.     (Unscheduled walk-ins, University website referrals, Flatmates referrals) Receive a phone call from us, and/or attend an appointment with us and fill out the pre-appointment form. You must also provide:

a.     Emergency contact details

b.     2 x Referee contact details

c.      2 x Forms of Government ID (passport, drivers licence, university confirmation of enrolment, university ID card, Medicare card)

d.     Proof of affordability

In your first appointment meet the above criteria and sign up for up to six months for one entry or up to twelve months for two entries

Current Housemate Referrals Housemate referrals require the following criteria to be met before an entry is given:

1)     Potential housemate must be a suitable fit for a Student Rooms house

2)     Potential housemate must attend an appointment with a Student Rooms representative

3)     Potential housemate must provide

a.     Emergency contact details

b.     2 x Referee contact details

c.      2 x Forms of Government ID (passport, drivers licence, university confirmation of enrolment, university ID card, Medicare card)

d.     Proof of affordability

 

Potential housemate must sign a contract with Student rooms for up to six months for one entry or up to twelve months for two entries

 

Prize Details 1 x Major Prize – $500 cash (prize cannot be exchanged for any alternative)
Prize Drawn Prizes will be drawn at the Student Rooms Semester Welcome Event (Either Semester 1 or Semester 2).
Prize Date Dates will be confirmed by GM or MD and will change based on the promotional period.
Notification of Winner During the Welcome Event winners will be notified at the time of the draw they have won.
Prize Claim Details Prize must be claimed on the date of the Welcome Event.

If a winner isn’t present at the event they forfeit the prize and the draw will continue until an attendee who meets the criteria for entrance is selected.

$500 cash prize will be transferred to your elected account and may take up to 10 business days.
