2020 Semester One Welcome – Autumn at the Elephant
Student Rooms met the beginning of the year head on and before everything took a turn for the worst, we put on another great welcome event for our students and housemates. It was a great opportunity to get to know their housemates as well as meet some fresh faces, all the while enjoying a fun night of food, drinks and spot prizes!
We congratulated another housemate on winning this semester’s $500 cash prize and little did we know it but the winning spot prize turned out to be a 30 pack of toilet paper! Who knew??
We look forward to seeing our housemates at the next event!!
2019 Semester One Welcome – Autumn at the Elephant
Student Rooms welcomed 2019 semester one housemates at The Elephant once again this year. We had a wonderful time getting to know our new housemates and catching up with current ones. Our housemates were treated to free food and drinks along with some fun trivia games. We also had our $500 cash referral program drawing and the winner was Victoria, a housemate from one of our Paradise properties.
What a coincidence, it’s been two years in a row that a Paradise housemate won the $500 cash referral program prize!
It was a fantastic night with a great turnout and we are looking forward to the next event later this year.
2018 Semester One Welcome – Autumn at the Elephant
Student Rooms welcomed 2018 semester one housemates with a small gathering at The Elephant, a British inspired pub in the Adelaide CBD. Our housemates were treated to free food and drinks along with some fun trivia games. We also had our $500 cash referral program drawing and the winner was Ilana, a housemate from one of our Paradise properties.

2017 Semester Two Event at Howling Owl
We would like to thank all our housemates for an amazing second half of the year! Our house portfolio has grown, giving our students a greater variety of options to consider for accommodation. It also gives us an opportunity to continue providing an amazing service for the benefit of students, both international and local.
We recently held our Semester Two Event at The Howling Owl, where we shared food and drinks with our housemates. The event culminated in the Student Rooms $500 cash draw which was awarded to our housemate from our St Peters house – Pan Liao.
Congratulations to Pan and our runner-up prize winners and we look forward to seeing our housemates at the next Student Rooms event!!
2017 Semester One Welcome – Glenelg Cruise
Student Rooms welcomed semester one housemates with a boat cruise in Glenelg. It was a tad bit chilly, but we still had a wonderful time sipping on sparkling wine while watching the sunset over the water and the picturesque sights of Adelaide in the background.
