We collect identity documents and study details because they are reasonably necessary for assessing tenancy applications and complying with our obligations as a landlord under the Residential Tenancies Act 1995 (SA).

8. Data Storage, Security & Retention
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. These steps include:
- SSL/TLS encryption for data transmitted via our website
- Secure storage of physical and digital records with access limited to authorised staff
- Using reputable, security-certified third-party platforms
We retain tenancy-related records (including application information, lease agreements, payment records, and correspondence) for a minimum of seven (7) years after a tenancy ends, as required by law and for the purposes of dispute resolution. Marketing and enquiry data is retained only as long as necessary for those purposes.
While we take reasonable precautions, no data transmission over the internet is completely secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of information you transmit to us.
9. Overseas Disclosure
Some of our third-party service providers (Google, Meta, Ontraport) are based in the United States and may store or process your personal information overseas. Where we disclose personal information to overseas recipients, we take reasonable steps to ensure those recipients handle your information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:
